Save on Energy Local Initiative Programs
As part of the 2021-2024 Conservation and Demand Management (CDM) Framework, local initiatives are being developed to deliver CDM savings in targeted areas of the province with identified system needs. These local programs are only available to certain types of customers in various electricity-constrained areas of the province. BizEnergySaver
Delivered in collaboration with Toronto Hydro, Hydro Ottawa and Hydro One, the Save on Energy BizEnergySaver program is designed to help owners and operators of industrial, commercial, institutional and multi-residential facilities make equipment improvements to reduce their energy consumption. This program is available in the Richview South area of Toronto (central and west Toronto and parts of southern Etobicoke) and in Ottawa.

CoolSaver
The Save on Energy CoolSaver program helps homeowners and tenants upgrade their home cooling systems to reduce their electricity consumption and energy costs by offering incentives for air conditioner tune-ups, central air conditioner replacements, portable dehumidifiers and smart thermostats. The program is delivered in collaboration with Toronto Hydro, Hydro Ottawa, Hydro One and Alectra, and is available in the Richview South area of Toronto (central and west Toronto and parts of southern Etobicoke), Ottawa and York Region.
