Designed for HVAC load curtailment

The Peak Performance Program helps commercial and institutional buildings in Ontario reduce their HVAC loads on peak electricity demand days this summer.

When a high-demand day is forecast, you'll get notified in advance. Reduce building HVAC output, lighting and more during a demand response event, and earn incentives based on those energy savings.

What could you earn in this demand response program?

If your buildings curtail an average of 1.25 megawatts (MW) over the 2026 season, you could earn approximately $94,000.

This includes approximately $64,000 in seasonal incentives + a $25,000 enabling incentive for joining the program for the first time.
