Save on Energy is changing the way it delivers programs as well as ending a number of incentives in an effort to reduce costs and increase efficiencies.
Programs such as Small Business Lighting and Retrofit will continue to be available for customers, while others, such as the Heating and Cooling program, are being discontinued.
Contractors and other allies are encouraged to reach out to their customers to update them on their status of their applications and remind them that core programs such as Retrofit and Small Business Lighting will continue to be available. For most customers of these programs, there should be little impact on service levels and the timing of their projects.
The IESO will be delivering Save on Energy programs directly. For some of our partners, this could result in new opportunities for the delivery of province-wide programs. Delivery agents who support locally-delivered programs should contact their local hydro company for more information.
Save on Energy support for contractors and allies is continuing – with webinars and information about energy-efficiency topics to help you sell projects to customers. Our trade allies will continue to be a key partner in the success of these programs.
